Level 2

Goal

  • managing challenging situations in a moderation professionally
  • knowledge of solutions and techniques to deal with various kind of challenges

Content

  • the tools of methodology
  • managing conflicts
  • identify and avoid competition
  • media – support for a successful moderation
  • three group phases: orientation - operation - completion
  • identifying and dealing with challenges
  • exercise with video analysis
  • dealing with disturbers  - video analysis

 

Level 3

Goal

  • moderation for the purpose of participative problem solving
  • develop the skill to conceptualize, implement and supervise a problem-solving process

Content

  • participants prepare a presentation for training purposes
  • analysis of the presentation with individual feedback and advice by the trainer
  • managing resistance on the factual and relationship levels during a moderation such as an attack on the moderator
  • exercise: hot seat
  • dealing with extraordinary situations, case example
  • moderating problem-solving processes: problem-analysis-scheme, Ishikawa-Model, 3-field-matrix, Netzbild
  • development of apposite practical applications
